Healing Heartaches was inspired by and is dedicated to my beloved Granny. After her death
it was amazing how many krumpled Kleeenexes I found in jackets, in pocketbooks, tucked in
a pillowcase. Each felt like a treasure then. This is a book about loss and grief, more
importantly it is a book about hope and healing. Who you are now is not who you have been.
We cannot go back again.
Hearts that are connected in life cannot be separated by death, death is not that powerful.
Each of us must find the path that keeps our loved ones secure always in our hearts and
memories.
